Jesus said in Mathew 28:19 “Therefore go and make
disciples of all nations.”
Having already been in the ministry for nearly 20 years
in India and several other countries, Pastor Thomas
Gnanasekar arrived in Canada in 1989 with a burden to
reach the Tamil speaking community that was growing
beyond all leaps and bounds. Pastor Gnanasekar stood
alone, propagating the word of God and preached about
the love of God on many streets and intersections. This
vigorous ministry led to the establishment of the
International Miracle Church.
International Miracle church was started on December 23rd
1990 with 12 believers.
The Church saw an incredible growth over the
years. In 1993, International Miracle Church saw the
largest growth it had ever seen in its history; in fact
it was the fastest and greatest growth of a church the
nation of Canada had ever seen in its Christian history.
International Miracle church hence caused a new
beginning in the history of the Tamil speaking church in
Canada. Several other Tamil churches were born out of
this ministry and thus the word of God spread across
this vast community.
Today with about 200 believers, International Miracle
Church is an ever growing and dynamic church working
with its sole vision of reaching the lost and touching
lives with the love of God. Here at International
Miracle Church, we are witnessing the uprising of a
generation of young people who are taking the gospel of
Jesus Christ into this world and bringing in the
harvest. Located at 1940 Ellesmere Rd., Unit #15, on
Ellesmere, just east of Bellamy in Scarborough, ON,
International Miracle Church is marching on in these end
times, fulfilling the great commission Jesus gave us:
“therefore go and make disciples of all nations.”
